OUR TRAINING ENVIRONMENT Training in KIMarie is conducted in a 6000 sq ft 4-storey building located in the conservation belt of Tanjong Pagar which is rich in unique architectural designs. This is the in-place for the creative and trendy. The KIMarie building houses a modern salon and three well-equipped and spacious training rooms for 200 students. Each training room is dedicated to specific training functions and the training centre is specially designed to give students an institute-based training environment. TRAINERS & TRAINING METHODOLOGY Training is the primary function of the 7 full-time instructors. All of them are established stylists who have gone through extensive training both locally and abroad. They are also qualified industry trainers who have undergone a teacher training programmed. The skill of the instructors is kept current through a rigorous in-house skills training programme. KIMarie uses the personalized learning approach in training the students. Our student to trainer ratio is maintained at 10:1 and involves tutoring and provision of hands-on learning activities subsequent to structured lessons and skills demonstrations. In recognition of KIMarie’s outstanding achievements in training and development, the productivity & standards board of Singapore has awarded KIMarie the national training award-certificate of commendation.
